Dob-a-Driver was developed as a research tool for the purpose of gathering information relating to all types of unacceptable driving behaviour throughout Australia, with the intention of presenting that information back to the public, showing the types of incidents which help contribute to the appalling vehicle accident rate.
With this knowledge, it is the hope that unlawful speeding reduces.... courtesy towards other drivers increases..... responsibility for one's own actions becomes a way of life and a general decrease in vehicle incidents occurs as a consequence.
It is not the intention of Dob-a-Driver to utilize the gathered data for purposes other than enlightening Australia as to what occurs on our roads and waterways to the detriment of others.
We are sure that the greater majority would agree with this concept and objective.
When a person's actions have a negative effect on others, it is generally considered to be unacceptable!
The basic concept of Dob-a-Driver is to 'Help make Australia a safer place to live'
